Christine Chaise Greenwood was born in Paris, France in 1962. She moved to the U.S.A in 1988
where she has been teaching children and adults for 24 years. Her experience in education includes:
Seven years in French public schools as an Elementary School and Special Education teacher
(Elementary School Teaching Certification awarded in Melun, France in 1986,
and Special Education Certificate awarded in Beaumont sur Oise, France in 1987)
Seventeen years as a French teacher in Connecticut (University of Hartford, Farmington Valley Art Center,
Farmington Continuing Education, the French American Nursery School which she founded in 1998)

Christine started to paint in 1994 to cope with the nostalgia resulting from the uprooting from her native country.
She has exhibited her work in various jury selected fine art and craft shows in New England:

Since 1997, she has been exploring a new art form with the paint program software to create unique
and abstract images (cosmic line). In addition to her fine art,
Christine has been designing and creating jewelry and fused glass art wall pictures.
