Christine Chaise
Greenwood was born in Paris, France in 1962. She moved to
Connecticut in 1988, and has since been teaching French
to children and adults.
Christine earned her teaching degrees in France.
Certified in Elementary and Special Education, she taught
for 7 years in French public primary and secondary schools,
and 22 years as a French teacher and tutor in Connecticut.
Her experience includes teaching French at The University
of Hartford, Farmington & Simsbury Continuing Education,
Thompson Brook & Roaring Brook Schools in Avon, The
Farmington Valley Arts Center and The French American Nursery
School in Avon.

Christine started to paint in 1994.
She has exhibited her work in various jury selected fine

Since 1997, she has been exploring a new art form with the
paint program software to create unique and abstract images
(cosmic line). In addition to her fine art, Christine has
been designing and creating jewelry and fused glass art
wall pictures.
