They will not give you accurate directions to the studio when
approaching from the east.
The directions below are correct.

From New York
City - North via Interstate 684 to Interstate 84 East to Route
8 North to Winsted. Continue 2 miles on Route 8 North out of Winsted.
Take right on Route 20 two miles into Riverton. In the center
of the town take a left on Robertsville Rd. The studio is inside
the old stone church in the center of the town.
From Boston - Mass Pike West to Interstate 84 West to Hartford.
From Hartford - 84 West, take exit 39 (Farmington) Route 4 West
to Route 179 North through Collinsville. Continue on 179 to Route
44. Take left on Route 44 West. Continue on 44 West throught New
Hartford. Take right on Route 181, follow 1 mile to stop sign.
Go straight through stop sign on West River Rd. Follow West River
Rd. 5 Miles to the end. Take Right on Route 20 into Riverton.
Take left on Robertsville Rd. The studio is inside the old stone
church in the center of the town.
From Springfield - South on Interstate 91 to exit 40 West via
Route 20 through
Granby. Continue on Route 20 West, take left on Route 219 continue
on 219 take right on 318 over the dam. Continue on 318 into Pleasent
Valley. Cross steel bridge over the Farmington River take right
on West River Rd. Follow West River Rd. 5 Miles to the end.
Take Right on Route 20 into Riverton. Take left on Robertsville
Rd. The studio is located inside the old stone church in the center
of the Historic town of Riverton.
From Northwestern CT - Take route 44 East to Winsted. Take left
on Route 8 North. Continue 2 miles on Route 8 North out of
Winsted. Take right on Route 20 two miles into Riverton. In the
center of the town take a left on Robertsville Rd. The studio
is inside the old stone church in the center of the town.

Peter Greenwood
purchased the Union Church (built in 1829 and listed on the national
register of historic buildings) in January 2005. The Original
Church was closed in 1966.
There is a large
gallery showroom on the second floor displaying Chandeliers, Wall
Sculptures, Glass Furniture, Lighting, Vessels, Fine Art Paintings
and Jewelry by Christine Chaise Greenwood. The gallery is open
to the public and has a viewing area to watch the glass blowing.
There is a sitting area inside the gallery and an outdoor terrace
with tables. If you would like to be included on the mailing list
